Today has been the last day of the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference here in Denver. To be honest, I did not attend the keynotes in the morning. If you have heared one, you know all.
However, the breakout sessions in the afternoon were great again. My personal highlight was the session of Jonas Ridderstale: Karaoke Capitalism - Daring to be Different in the New World of Business. He was talking about changes in the social economy and its consequences to business. Although I have already heard him speaking on the topic before, I enjoyed it again. Check out some scenes of his talk in my video above.
The last event at this conference will be today's WPC party. Was the conference worth while attending for me? Definitely! These three speakers impressed me most:
- Jonas Ridderstale
- Rod Beckstrom
- Robin Crow
The key messages I take away from this conference are: Live your dreams! Follow your passion! Do not imitate, innovate! Sounds a little bit dramatic, I know. However, some of the speakers got me thinking about what can really make a difference between our company and our competitors.
